If you think you are invincible, then think again or stop smoking whatever you are smoking and come back to earth.
I had a friend that used to say that, he rode at a 100 mile an hour etc, all I can say is he is no longer with us.
That was just before his 21st birthday

    Cheers for the link

We all have to die someday, but as motorcyclists we must accept we will loose those close to us, before thier time should have been.

This does not mean, that it is ever any easier.

(said with a tear in his eye, youve gone and done it now...rest in peace bruce and dan, dammit i'm blubbering now.)

What a crock of horse shit Mark.

"We must except that we will loose those close to us before there time"???

So as a motorcyclist we are ALL doomed to die before our time???

Not a lot of thinking happens before you type does it?
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

As soon as I saw the start of the video, it rang a few bells. The pictures at the end confirmed it.

I used to work with this bloke back in the UK - in Oxford, for a company called Esoft Global. He was a linux / firewall support guy with a very warped sense of humour. ("My mum's cute. If she wasn't my mum, I'd fuck her.") I saw him a few months after the accident and he was getting around OK. Still limping a bit, and subject to bouts of tiredness, but was driving and off most of the meds.

Was always into his cars and bikes too. Used to drive this old 2.8 litre Ford Capri with worked suspension and a supercharger. It blew up on a regular basis. And that old Fireblade he's riding on the track day was the bike he had back then too, if memory serves.

Glad to know he's back to good health though. I would say back to normal, but he was never that normal to begin with...

The photos are a bit deceiving - he's about 5'10" / 5'11". Not that tall anyway.
