    I got a job!

Well I got my very first teaching job

Is all very exciting! So just wanted to share

I got the call last week and I thought it was the best christmas present ever! I am away now so I am so glad that I will be able to relax and know I have a great job to come back to!

Enjoy your freedom while you can!!
    Congrats and good luck
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Bwhahaha. By Winter you'll be saying the little b@stards are driving you nuts, their parents don't give a monkeys, that a lot of your colleagues are arse-licking idiots and the government education policies are rubbish. Be prepared to find yourself talking to friends/partner/family like a schoolteacher.

If you get the right school you'll love it and find it very rewarding.

Well done. Primary or Secondary ?

Only advice I can give is remember the teaching and learning is the most important part of the job. Try to say no to as much of the other stuff as you can until you have survived a couple of years, then go hard.

Best of luck, you big teacher you.

Primary. I have Year 2/3's and it is a tiny little school. There are only 120 children in the school and 5 classrooms

    Congratulations and well done.

A small school is a good way to start out...... less stress...... and you get to know everyone in the small community that is connected to the school.

Have fun teaching year 2/3..... kids of that age are like little sponges and soak up all the information.
