Angry CHCH - Ilam: To the squid on the FXR150

Hey dude, put some fuckin' gear on and do your helmet up. A T-shirt, shorts and sandals will turn even the slightest accident into a serious one. Plus, having your D rings dangling lose and shining isn't a good look either. Where's a copper when you need one.

There's no excuse for riding like that so don't even bother trying to rebut.

He's seen too many movies where they just throw their helmets on and go with the straps blowing in the breeze. I laugh every time I see that.

Mate when I lived in Ilam in 1973, we didn't have to wear helmets in the 50km/hr (was 30mph) zone until the end of that year when they were made compulsory. We seemed to live OK then and it was a quick way of drying your hair after a shower. Luckily I don't have much hair now I have to wear a helmet.

Re: the whole Dangerous thing? I see where you're comming from and I'm sort of on the fence regarding that matter.

In any case I don't think so - I deserve immunity to harass anyone I feel fit! BTW: You're not suggesting that it's somehow acceptable to ride like he was are you [FXR dude]?

i was just takin the piss... and no, i dont think shorts are appropriate and neither is flapping helmet straps. i pulled the kids over the road up on that [or rather, i pulled their mother up and told her to tell them that i would personally knock their heads together]

i can remember 30 odd years ago motorcycle cops using white short sleeved shirts as safety gear. The alpha male moutaches were for keeping flies out of their teeth.

I am in the midst of setting up an online Emporium that specialises in the tools required for lynching.

There is a HUGE untapped market.
