Looking for song title (old 70s track)

This is going out to the "more mature" kiwibikers - I've got this fragment of a song going through my head at the moment and in the past I've found the best way to exorcise these things is to listen to the track and get it over with. However I know neither the song title or the artist. All I can recall is a short section and a bit of the tune. As far as I can recall I heard this during the '70s, male vocalist who sounded a bit like the guy from Quincy Conserve (and that sure dates me), there was some fastish flute playing and the line I recall goes "my name is Marty Marty( or similar), so pleased to meet you Mister Rolly Poly (again, or similar)". I've tried the lyric search engines but the phrases are either too vague and come up with a bazillion possibles or too specialised and come up with nothing.
    Thanks if you can help
    Pete
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

I remember when I was young
The name I had at school
And everyone used to laugh at me
And take me for a fool

And then one day my biggest friend
Took me to one side and he said:

    "My name is Mighty Mighty
I'm pleased to meet you mister Roly Poly
    My name is Mighty Mighty
I'm pleased to meet you mister Roly Poly"

    "My name is Mighty Mighty
I'm pleased to meet you mister Roly Poly
    My name is Mighty Mighty
I'm pleased to meet you mister Roly Poly"

    My friend's a troublesome person
Always fighting like a hannibal near the pool
One day he punched the teacher's son, you know
Reminding me of letting at school

    "My name is Mighty Mighty

Thanks guys! Once again I am gobsmacked by the collective (wisdom might be too strong a word) knowlege that can be found here.

(Goes off to Limewire with a song title to search on...)
