Pity it didn't rain like the forecast. It would have been a Westsport.

Harden up. Not doing the last race was pretty dissapointing for Redpath. They might have missed a bit of TV coverage.

It's reminded me of what a spectacular day I had, the most intense racing I've had the pleasure of experiencing. Just look at the size of those eyes! I didn't blink once in any race.

I.me sure you blinked when i gave you a wave Jimmy.............

So how come neither you nor Jimmy were out in that last race? Had you given up in disgust and it was just better to get to a few beers?
    Cheers

    Thanks
Just looking back here, so is the 49.061 Stroud did last year on the thou the lap record?

Does anyone remember what lap time Richard Scott did on the NS500 when he was said to have broken the record many years back which then stood for some time?
    Cheers

    Derek McAdam/Richard Leong Racing

we had a great day, finishing well up the order and even managed to bag 4th in the feature race, (2nd in F1 class, according to mylaps.com).

not too shabby on a zx10r well down on power. pretty good effort for a "small bloke can't ride big bikes!"

    well done to Derek.

yeah, we got shuffled back in the starting line-up a few times but Derek just laughed it off and said it would give him a couple of other guys to chase. to his credit, he managed to finish in front of the factory guys more than a couple of times.

I think he's the same guy that hurls it around Mt Wellington kart track. "Spectacular" is not a strong enough word to describe his riding.
