It'll be interesting to see how that pans out for them. I guess it could work in the inner city, but with a range of less than 100km (even less if they were being caned in a "pursuit" scenario) it would make their use limited. Imagine them trying to put a pursuit on hold for two hours while they recharge the batteries . . .

Will also be very interesting to see how they fare in traffic, whether they get knocked off more often due to not being heard.

Hard case that they reckoned the motorcycle fleet was "less than green". So how do they rate the car fleet of Crown Vic's or whatever tank they are driving these days?
