Just one parting thought for potential future racers at Wanganui...a steering damper is probably a good idea!!

I hadn't really felt the need for one until now, but Wanga's sure showed up my bike's normally very good stability...definitely on the purchase list before the next one.

why were you running slicks tho ('specially with lack of warmers) and not treaded race tyres on a road track?

'cos they were 50 bucks and I'm tight.

I also thought that we'd be able to get mains power on the day...silly me.
