I would be keen to do this... The 12 or 13 sounds good to me as long as I'm not called back to work. If I got two or so days notice of when going I could tell them to get stuffed So I'll keep watching

Sounds fun but if its after the 12th I'm away.

There is a shit load of traffic on the roads presently.

Make sure those bastards watch out for those right handers as well!

Jacksons Pub for a beer... and pie/ceaser salad whos bloody keen?
Okay Mr D when is this pie ride happening? I see 5 votes for 12 th and 3 votes for 13th(my vote) is it most likely to be one of these days? If 12 th will need to get the day off work? Or is it this weekend coming?? Also can I say what a pain in the ass having two threads planning the same ride.

    Happy New Year everybody

Yeah I was suprised at how the place has changed (Jacksons pub that is), last time I was in there back late 90's it was abit of a dive. Damn I could have stayed there all night.
Perfect weather both sides of the hill.

Yep, went past there yesterday and there was a big sign up saying that the next race meeting was on the 12th.

If its sunny and hot next weekend then Porters Pass will be as dodgy as hell, going through there yesterday it was a sea of wet tar and grit.
