Mate, at least you spirits seemed pretty high. I would have been mortified if it was my shiny new bike.

Was fantastic riding with you, learnt a fair bit about the lines you were taking, when I could see you.

Crapola, glad to hear you are okay Hellraiser! You got another bike lined up or getting the 'busa back?

Hey Fub@r. I met you and Hubba Gubba at the gas station before a mate and I headed off to Waihi for a ride - coincidentally you had arranged a Coro loop adventure. We have the black and red gt250rs.

Keen to join you next time providing you keep to your 'Speed Limit +wee bit' comment. Being new to riding I tend to stick to the limit - I need all the time possible to react to the changes in the road and/or other vehicle driver's mistakes.

Question: why did you replace the front tire and leave the rear Shinko on?

Nice meeting you, was a pretty sedate pace, will catch you on the next one.

EDIT: I think your bike is an '07 model, not '97. If it is a '97, it must be a collectible antique Hyosung by now.

Was a good ride, no excessive speed.

Replaced the front tyre as I purchased the bike on Trademe and it was transported up from down the line. When it was delivered the bike was clamped down hard on the front and the tyre was flat. When I inflated it it had a "wobble" to it so replaced it. Was planning on getting rid of the rear but have never gotten around to it

HAHA, thanks for that... maybe that is why noone talks to me :P

It has now been corrected. For the record; mine is same as yours without the screamin demon although yours is from Wellington so probably handles better in the wind! I beleive you still have da Shinkos.

How long have you been riding for? How much did you get the GT250r for? is it also an 07? How was your massive McMuffin combo?

Did the transport company have to replace the wheel for over clamping the clamp during clamping?

Been riding for 18 months and in no rush to get a bigger bike as 80% of my riding is getting through Auckland traffic so a larger bike would be waste. And the Hyo does me well

Got the bike for $5500 with 500km on it so was pretty happy with that. Guy purchased it then had a work accident which did his knee in and required surgery. Was told he wouldn't be able to ride for 12 months so sold it.

As for the McMuffin I don't know why I keep doing it to myself, always regret having one of those for breakfast.

Should start a Hyo ride, was quite nice to see 4 of them at the BP parked together

Shame about the previous owner :S

Before 10am you have to eat and when you are out and about at that time you have to do McDs.. its strange Ive tried their breakfast deli rolls... they are crap, too bready and tomato saucy, so the good ole massive mcMuffin is probably the better choice.

18 months and youve stuck with the Hyo... Good to hear.. Ill stick with mine for some time. Will probably replace the can and tires but am very happy with what I have now. See you on the next Hyo ride!
