Accommodation needed, Waiwera, New Year's Eve

Hey does anyone up in near Waiwera have a paddock or front lawn I could pitch a tent on for the night on new years eve?? We will be doing the first leg of our northland tour and the stinky camping ground isn't able to squeeze our 2 man tent and two bikes in!!!

The plan was to cruise up from Hamz late monday arvo / early evening do the hydroside thing for a few hours then get some rest

for the long trip ahead.

If anyone could help out or recommend a place to stay not far from Waiwera it would be awesome.
