Mr Laava - a grown up birthday wish

Because you're now an elder statesman I thought I'd better treat you with the respect you deserve...

Hehe Have a great birthday mate
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Thanks you guys! Here's what I did on my birthday. Checked into poncy motel at rotorua with helmet squished moth attached to forehead, still vainly flapping one wing. This process took about 10 min after which I returned to the bike and received howls of laughter from my Jo!

I'm guessing that was you (dark V-strom, 2 up) heading away from the Cape as I was going towards it. Did you get up to the lighthouse? A nice family let me drop my gear in their car, so I could get changed for the climb. Met heaps of bikes on my way out.

Hope your birthday went OK. I had to get down to Hawkes Bay for a family Easter. I got back yesterday after 1600kms on my 30-year old bike.
