Dunno, when low beams are on the indicator on the dash (instrument panel?) lights up for high beams. When I actually flick the switch for high beams it just gets brighter.Originally Posted by paparazzi

I knew I should have bought that bike alarmBike wont be anywhere near GC this week with any luck, have to take it in for 3 horrible exams next week though

Thanks for the advice, I start a real job towards the end of November and should have some money to turn my bike into something I can be proud of, heh or atleast one that won't surprise me with a new problem everytime I got to take it for a ride.
I think a multimeter and some time would sort out your indicator, but the tyre wear sounds a little worrying. String line the frame, and maybe get your forks checked out at a shop.
Alternatively if your frame is bent and your going to buy a nice shiny bike to replace it can I crash this one for you? Please? I like crashing things.
Would it be worth more for parts than it would as a whole bike? If so I reckon you could probably get a few low sides out of it before breaking it.Originally Posted by Magua
The other thought was with the talk of wheelies and stoppies happening in the other thread, maybe we could all pitch in and make it a communal bike for the purposes of stunt practice..![]()
Brakes are easy to do I will not use Red Baron to service my bike I cant put my finger on it but there is just something about the place that I dont like. HOOOOOOO spooooky

DB is the new Porridge. Cause most of the mods must be sucking his cock ..... Or his giving them some oral help? How else can you explain it?

I used to have the same problem. Sidestand heel tang would dig in with a most alarming scritchy noise every evening when I went through the off-camber left-hand corner connecting Thingy Street up onto Wotsit, linking from the Northern to the Northwestern. It still only has about half the blob on the end of it left, with a nice flat under-face to it.Originally Posted by Posh Tourer :P
But a bin a while back did a nice job of bending the tang back to just the right angle so that the footpeg touches down before it does.
I recommend the same modification. You might prefer to do it with a crescent and hammer if you want the 'surgical precision' approach, though.
