Sweet Jesus - where do I start?
ok - I was in the 'naki (YAY the 'naki... sweet home Alabama... sing along!)... *ahem*... staying at the inlaws and suffering quietly through Christmas as one does. Chrissy is for the kids after all... and I meet a couple of the naki bods. Without naming names (for fear of leaving any out)... there are some bloody good people there and the hospitality was awesome.
Met one or two that I know I'll be staying in touch with. Got to go riding to the boxing day races (in a car - the weather looked threatening and I have nothing to prove by "being a biker") and met a shit load of KBers down there too. Bloody awesome to watch Jimmy the Mair doing his thing. He's like Jake the Muss but not big or scary. Onya Jimmy... seriously mate I was hoopin' and hollerin' for you on the sidelines. Proud as hell man.
I felt pretty sorry for Kick and the team not being able to to race... but c'est la vie as they say in frogland. Met Shaun and some high powered acquaintenaces of his... fucken top man that one. I have a new found respect for the ginga ninja... having faced death and coming back anyway.
At one point I found meself sitting there with Mr. Harris and one other - both of whom have/had problems that made mine pale alongside them was a life/perspective affecting thing. Both of them will possibly disagree... but alongside you two - I have it SWEET! Cheers to both of you... I learned a lot just being there ...
... so now I get to Wellywood... and I sit here at Col's PC... he's nothing but a drunken bum that talks shit and laughs a lot.
We get on well...watch this space...
edit... can you imagine Col and I meeting for the first time??? It was described as two puppies first meeting - lots of tail wagging and arse sniffing (I think that's what was said). Well I still have a sore guts, but I expect Col's arse isn't sore any more.
As for the JAFA crowd - miss you and luff you long time (told you I have had a few...!)
