Ahhh, what a perfect day for a ride, pity I'm too hungover and tired to trust my riding today, maybe tomorrow. Have fun Wilber and co., ride safe!!
You missed a corker day in the rapa very hot , more than likely go tomorrow too ,problem with today only 1 coffee shop and pubs x 2 were open so queit busy ,the back roads quiet the hill average.
Just the 2 of us out today it was Robs first trip over the hill on his bike ,went out back way to Gladstone up the hillclimb road and back past gladstone pub- martinbough -welly and home at 3.30ish.
I have my Bro' staying so we just did a quiet little trip me on the VFR Mrs merv on the back and my Bro' riding her DR650SE and we just went to Lake Ferry and back for lunch. Pub was doing a roaring trade and had to shut down food orders at about 2pm because it couldn't cope with demand and the wait went out to 1.5 hrs. We got our orders in just before a large crowd surged into the place. The fish there was nice and fresh. Only two other bikes there, a Harley and a Triumph. Weather as Wilber says was fantastic.
Cheers
Merv
