    Deep

And it is what humans tend to do. To try to find a purpose for their excistence. The "there must be a reason" force is strong with you, but you will learn. Other animals do not have this. Because they are not so evolved as humans. The biggest difference between us and other animals is that we have evolved more, we use our brain better. But we are still worth the same as an ant, as an fish or that possum you squashed under your tyre last night. And that is, in the big pictue, we are worth nothing.

But that is the problem humans have, they do not want to be worth nothing. They try to find a reson why they are here. When you then come and tell them that they are but mould they try to explain re the big bang, re god, re all other things that we have only our imagination to base it on.

I am happy being mould. To be born, to live and to die. There is no reason, nothing else, no before or after.

What is our rules, our concience we live by? Only thing they are is something the majority has decided on. Right is what the masses decide. And we follow like sheep.

Look at it this way: If earth exploded tomorrow and we all vanished, how would that change anything in the universe? (Apart from providing a straighter way for that Inter galactical highway...)

May the bridges I burn light the way.

You're quite right to some degree. But this is not proof of God, rather, that if you believe in God, then it supports your faith.

I have trouble fathoming Infinity, whether its the infinity of God in the Bible, or the infinity of the god of the big bang. I've always wondered what contains and exists outside the physical expanse of the universe.
Some things are worth dying for, living is one of them.

Hey didn't you used to be a mod? Why's your name not emboldened?

It's only a matter of time till it gets consigned to the Scottish Thread. Interesting tangent with the mould angle this time though.

So you reckon we're mold, and I have another idea.

I'd rather be riding than pondering these deep questions-am I a lesser or greater developed mold than you?

PS For all that certain folk dont like CHRISTmas, theres been a shitload of religious threads in the last little while

No no no. This is not a religious thread. Mould does not contain religion.

The Mouldy Bread Theory is there to provide you the freedom to do what you want to do as it does not matter.

So take it onboard and be free. Free to do what you want to do. As it does not matter. Nothing matters. Only if you allow it to.

And after supper he took bread and broke it, gave it to his disciples and said:

"Take ye half of this and leave it on the table. Do not consume it or compromise it with spreads from the fruit or that egregious black shit that Aussies like. Take the other half and put it in a plastic bag. Yea verily, in two score days you shall know the truth."

Religion = ANY set of rules that cover the actions of a group of people that gather togeather with one accord for the same reason = Kiwi Bikers.

Through selective searching and perception, we subconsiously seek data that supports our existing point of view, and avoid contradictory evidence.

So my truth about creations is what I have selected for myself,
it will differ from yours depending upon your perception.

Evolution, barrr humbug, no fossel remains of the mutants have been found.

Alien intervention, cant be rulled out , there is as much evidence to that as there is to evolution.

Of course I am subconsiously seeking data that supports my existing point of view, and avoid contradictory evidence which would prove me wrong.

You have to decide which one of these two is correct.

    1. There is a god that always existed
    2. There is a universe that always existed

It is very very hard to even think about such ideas as to us mortals everything is seen to have a beginning and and end.

If you decide on 1. then which god? There are many past and present to choose from, all with sincere believers that theirs is the only true one.

Some say that both god and the universe always existed
but I dont see the need for a god.

I am a freemason and as such I have to believe in a supreme architect, mine is nature and evolution in a universe that always existed.Masons are a brotherhood of men of all religions. Just last month I saw a Moslem join the lodge and there were Jews, Christians and Moslems there all worship different Gods.

I believe that in a lodge in Hong Kong there are seven religions present. Each religion has its "volume of the sacred law" on display.

There is a big Masonic bikers club in USA. In my lodge there a four motorcyclists, one a classic bike racer.

It is forbidden to talk about religion or politics inside a Masonic Lodge and a thread such as this would be impossible on a Masonic forum as these are subjects that invoke high emotions and no consensis is possible. Discussion such as this can only result in acrimony.

Mmmmm! So much erroneous opinion from so many who haven't actually spent the time in study with an open mind to find out the actual facts.

May I suggest a perusal of the aforementioned "Scottish Thread"? Say, from about page 300 or so?

People will almost always believe what they want to believe regardless whether it is true or false, and many, sadly, have been put off wanting to know because of the trouble and hypocrisy of organised religion - both so-called "Christian" and Pagan. Both sides are as greedy, blind and bloodthirsty as the other and have precious little to do with the Bible or the Creator. In fact, the Bible clearly condemns those who claim to believe and follow and preach it as hypocrites and liars.

The truth can be found, it just takes an open mind and a little determination. The truth is fully supported by Science and contrary to most of the dogma that is propounded as fact.

As regards mold, have you not researched Louis Pastuer's work? Also, while you personally may feel no moral responsibility or any purpose in life, the fact is that most human beings do, suggesting a higher intelligence and spirit in Man. You oversimplify life and conveniently have little actual knowledge.

Have you created a child and witnessed their birth? Have you held your newborn baby in your arms having just held your wife as she gave birth? Have you then seen that little baby grow up to become a woman and held your Grandson in your arms moments after she gave birth to him? Have you seen the bond of love between that Grandson and his mother, recognising the same bond of love you had with her? Have you seen your daughter hurt by a man and wanted to kill that man? Try that and see if you still think they are mere mold...

It wont be the first time people have not let FACTS, stand in the way of a good story.
