Friend of a friend had a similar experience; he had terminal cancer (at 21!) and they eventually just gave him as much as he wanted. If he was going to die anyway, damage from morphine didn't matter any more.Originally Posted by Motu

When I was in A&E last Boixing Day I was offered Morphine, I turned it down since I wasn't in that much pain and fiigured I'd rather know if something really hurts so they can sort it out. The Dr then asked me if I was sure. After I confirmed I really didn't want it she then had a little chat with my wife to see if there was any "special" reason I wouldn't want it, ie am I a recovering druggie.

hell yea man. nos is good. got a tooth pulled before getting braces. was on it for about half an hour. i just remember trying to chat up the assistant nurse asking her "how u doin". i dont think it looked too good with a mouth full of cotton and pliers.Originally Posted by MrMelon
