    street racing a 125

has anyone ot any experrience with street racing an rs125, I.m thinking about giving it a bash but have always thought them fairly unsuitable

feeling a bit more daring now they have biffed the motards out of the formula classes and don't own a 400 anymore

anyone got any thoughts or tips for street racing an rs

I have not street raced a RS125 myself but know two jokers who have with some success. They both just geared there bikes as low as possible with the gearing they had and avoided the big bumps as the RS does not have much suspension travel.

Cheers and hope to see you there.

Glen Hayward ran a 125GP bike at the first Hokitika meeting and came very close to winning it before a crash two corners from the finish put him out, he was dicing with Andy Bowell the whole way

K14 raced his at Wanganui a couple of years ago, you could Pm him
"If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough power."
