im supposed to be riding down there and i have a sneak suspicion that it is a really long way away, so does anyone know any good roads on the way that will make it more fun?![]()

well its in the hawks bay so rather long way from north shore
i would say make way to napier/hastings and then go on to here

Hmm, what are you doing in ypuk? :sly: if you want to get there in less than 6hrs then you'll want to stick to the main roads, taupo-napier is ok, you could take Hwy50 from napier for a bit of backtracking but once you make it to Ypuk there are lots of good roads, ask around for how to get to Kirakau, Porongahau, back roads to Takapau. There's heaps of nice twisty empty roads right on the back doorstep. but don't cause any trouble townie or I'll get tha boyz onto ya.
