Update on Taupo Track -costs etc

Taupo Track is now owned by a development company,
First thing they did was put the price of track hire up -
Basicly all costs have increased--flag hire/track hire/ basement hire etc
And thats still the old track.
The join from the old track to the new track is finished and turn 1 of the old track has been reshaped to keep the track flat.
There have been a lot of digging and gravel laying on the new track
New track WILL NOT be ready untill about march/april
I hate to imagine what they are gonna charge for that.
But the good news is that unlike Hampton downs earrthworks have actually happened --And the end result should be better access to one or the other track for KB track days.

I'M SORRY FOLKS THERE IS A SMALL PRICE INCREASE IN PRICE FOR THE KB TRACKDAY -PAYABLE ON THE DAY-IT WILL ONLY INCREASE to $65.00 PER PERSON TOTAL --iI'M REALLY SORRY ABOUT THIS BUT THE NEW OWNER(the development company AND TAUPO CAR CLUB HAVE INCREASED COSTS DRAMATICLY -EG BASEMENT AREA HAS DOUBLED IN PRICE

THE ISSUE IS THAT THE TRACK SOLD A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO -i WONDERED WHY MY INVOICE TOOK SO LONG TO ARRIVE --THE DEVELOPMENT COMPANY RAISED THE TRACK HIRE PRICE BY $250 AND THE CAR CLUB DECIDED THAT THEIR ONLY MEANS OF INCOME IS NOW FACILITY HIRE SO THEY HAVE DOUBLED THE PRICE OF ALL FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT--

Has the price change effected the December track day? If so, did they let you know by how much?

Im gonna hafta make it -$65 each to cover the price rise --$5 x 60=300 should be ok at that --fucks me off--they told me no price increase on old track
and Devil--Nope I paid 250 more for track hire expecting it to be new track --then they told me--no thats the price of old track now--FAAAARKKKKK --and that doesnt include the increased room hire--ie loos etc

Considering the travel costs, accomodation, etc to get there, $5 ain't gonna be noticed by me!!

Frosty, relax, I'm glad to pay whatever my share is. After all your good work, I definitely don't wanna see you outta pocket at all.

Frosty, never trust anything Grumpy tells you. Write everything down he says and keep copies of all correspondence. Get it in writing that you have the track booked for your December date.
I was very surprised when you said you were gonna be using the new track as all press releases have said early 2006 as a completion date. Cost wise, expect Puke type money (or more) for the Taupo track when it's all finished.

$5.00 extra per person-- a total of $65.00 each .
Thatll cover the raise in price in every area.
I have paid in full for the track.

    Easy come, easy go. Eh?
Do you want it now or on the day?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
