honda riders club track day at taupo

SteveZX6R, me and some friends of ours attended the hrc track day yesterday. it was awesome day not too hot not too cold. and both Steve and I finally got a little knee action (not much for me tho). I was extremely pleased with my performance and the running of the event with the only incedent being one crash at the end of the straight. After my last hrc day i have found around 3 seconds a lap now circulating in 45/46 seconds with my best lap at 45.3, and steve pretty close to the same. i would recommend the hrc track days to anyone as taupo is an extremely good track for this. plus you get lunch (knife and fork meal), coffee, tea, juice, water, biscuits all day. all this and only $100. they limit the days to 30 so the track isnt too crowded. our class only had 5 in it. with the medium group about 15. cheers hrc, steve, rick @ rach for a cool day.

Thanks for the info. Two people I know from Auckland stayed with me on Monday night on the way through - a Blackbird and a matt black VTR. Haven't heard back from them yet, but thought I might join if the feedback is good (which yours is!)

saw them is the balckbird blue if it is i got bad news its now got ram air as the headlight got ripped out when he crashed. i think he paniced and ran into the back of my mate on his red VTR(there was about 10 of them) he seemed to be OK a little winded maybe.
