WTF? I thought the speculation was that he was riding a Honda?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Same. We must of missed out on some Bullshit somewhere along the way.

Keep up with the play you lot!

Bayliss was talking to Kawasaki, but Hoffman chose to stay, so they didn't have a seat for Troy. Now he'll be on a Honda, and will probably be outfinishing all the Ducati's next season and making them feel really silly.

i only meant traitor to the sport... he shoulda stayed in WSB
dont get me wrong, I reckon he's a top bloke, but how many world champions lose a couple and make a comeback??? I think his time is passed...
i've even got a Bayliss model sitting pride of place in a wall unit... next to my genuine, sent from dave mustaine, megadeth's latest single... so he's up there
at least he's not on a kum suk me....

Bollocks! He wasn't riding like shit... it was a shit bike this year, everyone could see that. Follow me over Paekak hill and you'll see riding like shit. They gave him the humpty 'cause he wasn't getting results, but then Loris wasn't really doing much better was he. And while Loris did finish higher than Troy in the 2003 championship, and got Ducati's first win to boot, Troy did gain the respect of most of the top riders for his aggresive and competitive attitude in his first season in the big league.

You think his time has passed? Well I guess we'll find out in about 11 months time won't we... True it's unlikely he will ever win the MotoGP champioship, especially as long as Rossi's arse points to the ground... but I'm tipping Troy will be top 5 next year and there won't be a Ducati in kooee of him. He could be top 3, but Honda will do an Edwards on him and he won't get the new parts for the RCV.

You might be wondering why I'm defendng him so much? Simple. I'm tipping that I for one will never ever again see a professional rider crash twice during a wet premier class road race and still come home 5th... he is good, feckin' good.

Fairy nuff... not gunna argue, the guys an Aussie!.... I hope he does well, but I'm not gunna get my hopes up....
I wish he'd stayed in superbikes....
for me, watchin him, was nothin about the bike...that was a bonus... like doohan, he's an aussie and so am I!
he was good... I hope he can be good again...
I hope Gary McCoy does well next year too...but like i said, i aint betting my bike on it!
and as ya said, as long as rossi's riding, no-one has a hope!

at least he's got more chance on the honda than he would on a kwakasaurus of Victoria Bitter if you've got it!

Me too - I like his style and guts. But I reckon unless Petronas can find another 50 or so HP in that bike he's just not in the running,
