    Hmmm

Men have always been our sex toys we just have never admitted it before!! It is just now we are no longer prepared to cook and clean etc for them!!

I have always though of sex for sex but that may have something to do with the fact that I don't want to have kids. Not sure if others feel like this though.

Maybe women are more free to do what they want in their 30s/ 40s as they are happy with who they are, where they are etc etc.

Beers was good, has a laugh-FROSTY!!!! If I am not baby-sitting this Sunday I was going to try and organise aother session as I leave on Tue night, would love to see everyone before I go.

Notice THINK not act.....Now mom says you peak at 40.....Im just curious about other women and their experiences. As for the last comment you might be onto it. They have had so much responsibility and pressure from school and jobs etc its really (around 30) the first time everything settles for them............hmmm Ill pass that on again next Sat and see what the word is.

that wasnt a very bikernympho statement, hope your not losing your touch on getting the KBer womens heckles up!

By the way how was your Beers last Friday?

    my take on it ...

20 - 30 still worried bout wot others think, still obbessed with body image, and generally getting comfortable with sexuality

dirty 30's .. realize others opinions do not matter generally comfortable with sexuality & into exploring sexuality

    naughty 40's ... well its fun ..

really you know what you want & dunna mind saying it, you appreciate ppl for more than looks, and really into having fun ..

did i say fun .. ohh yeah I think i did but lets mention selective ...

I dunno why the heck I'm posting here but - as an observation....

A lot of women seem to gain a great deal of confidence in their late 20's and early 30's both professionally and personally - sadly it's about then that they suddenly realise the stud muffin rebels they used to prop up their lack of confidence earlier in life is really a jerk (and now loosing hair and putting on weight)..... The divorce rate seems to go up about then too... Sadly the good solid dependable chappies are then a little thin on the ground but since their biological clocks are not quite ticking loud enough to keep em awake at nights - they release this new found confidence as energy to be burnt up in nightclubs or learning to scuba dive or something... (usually something that gives them access to hopefully single men)

Later - it can change again.... BUT we do live in an age of personal choice and increased vitality so there is no reason why a strong woman cannot enjoy a healthy sex life for yonks - go for it i say!

Many of you have said love does not matter - my own experience is the opposite. Love matters a great deal to me but first you have to believe in both love and romance. Look at my taste in bikes - they are choices of love - not common sense and that carries over into my private life - love amplifies lust into something else and I thank my lucky stars every goddam day that I enjoy the love of a fine woman who accepts me and my love in return.... Some people need a new lover and a new bike every season - others love to know every curve, every shade, every nut and bolt in intimate detail and funnily enough - it never gets tired or stale - in fact, at this rate I think i shall die not of old age but from pleasure...

I could think of worse things...

and still ..... a lot of us that are a 'tad' older already knew what we are like and didn't need a TV programme to show or tell us.. I would not like to hazard a guess as to how men think about women, but there have been a LOT of changes over the last 30 years or so and I for one would be seruously surprised if men generally still think we are (still) prudish across the board.

Perhaps we have just socialised with different types of men then.

As a 36 year old (until Friday, turn 37 - nearing 40 - which might be a really good thing if mom is right!) I can definitely agree with trump-lady. I think about sex a lot more now than I ever used to. Differently to her though, I don't eye up 25 year-old hard bodies and fantasize, I just (as has been pointed out to me) treat the entire day as foreplay - foreplay with my partner, or thinking about my partner. I've been this way for the last six years - it was like a switch was turned on when I turned 30 - I was in a dead marriage but when it ended two years later whoa baby! For me it was also about confidence, achieving at a high level career-wise, earning decent money (shame that has an influence, but independence can't be underrated) and knowing I can hold my own in a demanding profession. These things have been historically, predominantly, a male preserve - maybe it's because we women are now experiencing the power and confidence that was solely mens, that we are experiencing the horniness that goes along with it! I know we're up there with the heart disease and stress related health issues too...... but sex is good stress relief. Sex, good red wine, and good dark chocolate. I'm gonna live forever!
