March 08 HERCEPTIN RIDER OPPORTUNITY

Hey Team...
Some of you already know about the Herceptin Riders event (see www.herceptinriders.co.nz if you don't, or if you want to find out more). I've been approached by a national women's magazine to see if any of the riders or pillions coming on this event have had or currently have breast cancer. They want to do a story about it in conjunction with promoting the ride itself, and it may be a good platform for your own fundraising, if you want to be involved. Alternatively, if any of you guys coming are riding in support of someone you love, or have lost someone to this disease, and you'd like to get involved, PM me here or email me via the weblink on the website, and we can discuss the opportunity further in confidence. Its a personal angle they're looking for, a personal reason for attending.

Supporters T-shirts are now available for this event. They are white with cerise pink cartoon on them, and they're 20 dollars + p&p. If you can't come on this ride, show your support for it anyway and buy a t-shirt, spread the word and help us get a very important message to the government.
