    Thanks

Spoke to your sister today, she is mint and has a very good perspective on a great deal of things!! She has been very helpful and I am sure that the contact details she has given me will prove extremely useful. Thanks to both of you, you ROCK!!

    Recruitment companies

Someone sent me some psychology recruitment agency details but when my laptop crashed it deleted all my bookmarks. If anyone can resend me the contact details I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

How's it harsh? You're obviously intelligent but yet you didn't back up important information.

    Hmmm

Intellect, computer skills and common sense are all different skills. The computer ones are slightly lacking. Give me as messed up head over a laptop anyday of the week.

Why? It's cool, a bit naughty and sophisticated, kind of like some of the people you meet around social and mental health services.

Where’d that come from! Of course there are those who qualify in India and other countries who are up to it – but really the UK and NZ have a very good qualifications system that provides us with some sense of assurance.
Big jump from the good point “India has some rather good universities” to then calling her a “condescending bigot”!
You obviously have some deep issues you need to explore – you should see a psychologist

There's a lot of good help and guidance available at http://www.move2nz.com/

Mike and Tammy are ex-Poms and run the site from CHCH. They have a lot of experience and can certainly point you in the right direction. You can search the forums for people in similar situations, plus post for help (like you have here). The process from EOI to ITA can be quite daunting so it is good to be prepared and make sure you score enough points to be invited to apply.

I do know a couple in your industry, their names escape me for now, but they are on Move2NZ. One is a trauma councillor and the other a probation officer. They say there is a real shortage of people in their industry.

    Good luck to you.

    Come on now, play nice.
