Usually there is only 2 or 3 standing quarters. Much more scope for things to go wrong with the standing runs from fried clutches to monster wheelies to big power slides into fences.

All good - I'll be there primarily for the top speed try out. Wanna see what the 20yo tractor can pull.

I saw some of the 1/4 mile runs last time... I saw the impressive power sliding, wheelie-ing craziness on the black VTR(I think???)!

LOL! Hey I have stalker probs of my own at teh moment.....

The poor old A is needing a new piston, it struggles to get to 40kph in top gear atm. When it's going though, sure thing!

It did 100 on the motorway a few times.... Will only cost $30-$40. Who know, I may bring it to sprints one day for a laugh!

And I would laugh so hard if you did. Though, that laughter would probably turn to boredom, which would turn to me sleeping as we waited for the angry hundy to complete the 2km run up....

Paul Heard is a Tauranga based company director and owner of the MV Agusta Racing team ...............

I met this guy at Taupo in December, a real nice guy. I was not sure whether I would go to the Sprints this time but now I see this, is worth going just to see how that MV does.
PS Told me he has a very special Ducati on order and will be awesome if he runs that in the Sprints at some stage - next time maybe. Lets make him very welcome so that he does come back, that will be quite a drawcard!
