And I would laugh so hard if you did. Though, that laughter would probably turn to boredom, which would turn to me sleeping as we waited for the angry hundy to complete the 2km run up....

    See ya Sunday
Actually - from memory they were roadtested at 110

hehe... his has no lights, no indicators, no speedo etc etc BUT.... mine was originally ridden over from Masterton by our very own Bungbung! Once I got mine going again I may try taking it over the Taka's. No brakes will make for a VERY exciting ride!!

I once rode over the Rimutaka's in a van with no brakes, returning from one of those hippy raves held in a forest, with a very heavy trailer filled with left over beer and AV equipment on the back... All the occupants were feeling seedy and wanted to keep stopping to throw up. That was one of the funniest rides ever... *reminiscent face*

Sorry to ask, but it's not obvious - do you just turn up on the day with money and signed entry form?

Edit: Apologies, post 33 answered the above

MNZ rules state what ya have to be wearing but can't remember off top of my head. You must wear a back protector, there will be some for hire on the day but they are limited in numbers.
Can anyone share a back protector with me?

Bit of a logistics problem with that; the person you'd be sharing the back protector with will be a couple of KM away at the end of the road! Get there early and you can rent one off the organisers.

Oh yeah, I had a bike just like yours once. You have to beat 258.64km/h .
