Excuse #23 - damp taupo track and Duc was cutting on and off and wouldn't rev above 6000rpm.
Excuse #24 - It was on $hitty road Michellins
    Excuse #25 - It's setup for a 50kg shortarse Japanese bloke

Talking of which, a few of the depressed brigade will no doubt be adding a few cuts here and there to themselves....what with Sir Edmundo popping his clogs.

I saw a Ducati 916 (mibby 996 I dunno) in Te Aroha yesterday with one of them fuggin ugly packracks.....sacrilege. At least mine looks good when I'm wobbling about on it

    Keep these happy thoughts coming.

Malcolm at Econohonda found and donated (I think..I'll wait and see if I get a bill) me a Showa shock for the CBR400. Not sure what it's off...has a label with CBR900 on it but we don't think so. Anyway, unlike the standard one is has loads of adjustable things wot turn with a C spanner on it. Oh...and there's a hose connected to a remote reservoir. Dunno what the hell is in the reservoir nor what the adjustable things do but I took it home and compared it to the old farked CBR400 one. Marginally longer but it looks like a straight fit....I'm a happy bunny.

Will this sunshine ever end .

Off to Athentree/Bowentree Beach tomorrow with the cuddies.
