I wonder do you enjoy riding your bike? because we sure as shit do It sounds like youve lost your mojo you should buy a car dipshit

This comes with experience, accelerated with track time, or even dirt riding.

To imply that only people that stunt have these skills is bullshit.

In fact I fail to see how this ( http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=cjoec911 ) kind of suff actually gives you worthwhile skills that are beneficial for situations in street riding anyways. Track time where you can push your limits beyond what you would normally do on the streets or dirt bike riding seem far more relevant to giving you the necessary skills.

If anything the kids that are into stunting probably have over conference as they think they are the best riders ever to walk the face of the earth and are nine feet tall and bullet proof. Such an attitude in motorcycling can be very dangerous.

I would honestly like to know why you think that? Is it because I place safety and staying in one piece a higher priority over "having fun"..???

Is this such a strange and bizarre concept to you, that you don't even consider me a motorcyclist... and that I couldn't possibly enjoy motorcycling?

If that is the case, then it is you that has some pretty fucked up ideas about motorcycling.

    Skills

I have had the joy of watching Death on a bike and he is SKILL!!

Strangely enough though a lot of my MX training was pretty much stunting, stoppies, wheelies, sliding the front end, doing tricks off jumps etc. teaches you a lot about what the bike can and can't do.
And yeh, I'll take you on any day, name it. I'll ride through rush hour traffic with ya till one of us gets taken out, do obstacle courses, defensive driving courses....whatever you want.

Its when he drops the huge stand up at the last second ,in a huge cloud of front tire smoke as the front had stopped spinning as it had been up there a while, and then backs it around the next bend that the skill really shows!

    Skill

And after spending almost 2 weeks on the back of this hoons bike I can tell you he is a bloody good rider and I never felt unsafe!! He even took me round Pukekohe for a test session so if that didn't put the shit up me then he obviously is doing something right! Skills can be transferable and we only learn and progress by pushing our boundaries and trying new things.

Maybe it's you that doesn't enjoy motorcycling then. Is your bike just another one of your toys like your skateboard or PlayStation?

Me, I just love getting on my bike and riding... no matter what the speed is. Certainly wouldn't call it "torture". Any speed on a bike beats driving a car any day. I love the freedom of just going no place in particular for an ice cream... then throwing a leg back over and having the pleasure of riding home again. I love loading up a tent and sleeping bag and going exploring on my 4 days off from work. I love only having to spend $20 at the pump to fill it up.! I love just tinkering with and cleaning my bike when having a lazy day at home. I love the thought of hopefully many many years to come of enjoying a life of motorcycling.!
