I got a GE loan last Friday for my bike at 12.95% - the bike dealers get a commission of around 2-4% on the interest and $150 on booking fee. (The initial interest rate offered was 15%). It's all negotiable - and let's face it, finance companies are pretty desperate to get some action at the moment!

    Anyway, here ya go:

you can usually barter the interest rates with ge ,i do ,although id recommend getting a personal loan from a bank

I have dealt with GE in the past and wouldn't touch them again - ever.
I have used Waikato Finance for a number of years now for both personal and company vehicles and have found them to be brilliant. Motorbikes not a problem in my experience.

My m8 just bought a bandit 250 from holeshot motorcycles in takapuna. he paid a deposit of 4.5k in cash. thats 45 100dola note. I was there and the salesmen started drooling. He managed to make a deal with the, he got $200 off the bike and they gave him $800 worth of riding gear.

He then went to the finance department and they gave him a bloody awsum deal to pay the last few $$..... Its dam amazing wat paying with cash can achieve!!!
No good deed goes unpunished...Leakproof seals-will...selfstarters-will not...Interchangeable parts-won't...In order to get a loan u need to prove u dont need it!!
