what fuel should i be putting in my bike.
jap import 1986 gsxr 750.
i put any fuel in it and i dont seem to be able to notice any difference.
what should it be 96 or 91

Bleh, I dropped spark on both the '88 if I used anything less than 96, and even the difference between 96 and 98 make a noticeable change in the smoothness of the engine idle. I think that was something to do with the tuning of it, as it wasn't stock.
The '86 I had would run ok on 91 as well, but always ran better on 96+.
I always buy the highest Octane available for anything that is considered a 'performance' vehicle or large cc vehicle.
I only use 91 on runabouts/daily drivers.
