Look on the bright side Dave -
at least you know your bike will look brand new at the end of it all, and you didn't have to put up with (like me) a bent bike in the gargre, no money to fix it, scrounging around and surfing websites, making phone calls from work cause you can't afford the toll calls overseas, waiting weeks and weeks for parts to arrive only to find out Customs wants you to pay GST on them, and then the hassle, once you finally get the bits, of having to put them all together so you could ride around on a scratched bike. 
It was worth it though...

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
