    Thanks all

I had huge fun, needed the practice, badly needed the advice. Thanks especially to Sal (sp?) and the guy with his wee lad (amazing how quickly I forget names ). I really appreciate it, will make sure to get more careful practice in

I think my wee 250 survived - had the first fuel light just coming on twice, so the ride was well planned even for me .

A few pics from the day:

Starting out at the Pegasus Arms just before the Northern motorway:

The bikes while grabbing lunch in Kaikoura:

Leigh's ride (I should have taken more of these pics...):

Weather was awesome, should have taken a shot down the coast in Kaikoura and on the way up past the seals - the views were perfect. Thanks again everyone.

Well done King/J a big day for you I bet.

Good day, good roads, good people and no tickets or break downs.
What more could you ask for?
Feel the fear and do it anyway

They were after all the motorists crossing the white line on the kink in the road.Trying to cut down on the speeding-cut corner -bang.
Traffic was pretty well behaved though wasnt it? - for a busy day on the road.

Did you notice one was holding a radio?
The other cars 5k's up the road were taking speed shots, rego numbers and radioing them through. Often done in that area
