    well, damn, doesnt look like im gonna be able to make it. got a car show in the naki that weekend that ive promised a friend ill to with her.

    I don't get it. Our high rate of taxes in NZ covers free emergency medical care (including pick up and hospital delivery). Further more, morons on the roads cause us to crash and we're expected to foot the bill... So why are we paying twice?

    I think if all bikers chipped in, we could get our own damn helicopter.

    I very much fear that you are far from alone in making that choice.
    I just hope that the affect on numbers is not too damaging. This is one charity that has all too close a connection with motorcycling and unlike you, few of those who cannot make it this time, will make a separate donation.
