Christ I seem to be the only one here that didn't do the "first bike" thing with any intelligence
My first was an 86 750 pop-up Katana and oh my god how I loved that bike, took me a year to learn how to ride and then I crashed hehe second bike was a GSXR400 that you will still find sitting in my garage
And they say you cand fall in love forever HA
I still get as much of a thrill if not more then when I first started riding it.

What is my ideal bike.................................... The GSXR400 that is in my garage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I want - what I really really want

Is a TL1000, or R1!!!!! - Not greedy of course.

My first little baby was a Suzuki AX100 - my sister and I had matching ones!!!!, awesome fun, dad said he got them both so there would be no fighting!!! :eyepoke: that was until we rounded the first corner from the street we lived in.

Next was the mighty Yamaha RD250LC - woooohhhhoooo, when ridden properly (about 2 years later) it went awesomely - although it did unfortunately come down in a corner (my fault completely).
Next I jumped onto a Honda VFR400 - yet another great bike. Had a blast for a couple of years - then long trips became pain cos not much room for gear etc etc.
Soooooo, I finally have ended up (as it says by my name above) a beautiful Kawasaki ZX9R - 1994. What a wicked machine. In all honesty (and according to my bank account) - I think she'll be mine forever now.:love2:

Be safe - be seen - be happy
