In that case, can I say that there's a GSXR400 and a Ducati 916 in my garage too???

My first bike was a Honda GB250.

My dream bike is the 2005 Triumph Daytona 650 in red.

    You or the bike Jackrat?

    (I had a TS250 for a while - great bike)

My first bike was a 1954 AJS 500cc single. I got it cheap as the owner had pissed off some louts who had chased him and dealt to him and the bike with a tyre iron so he was scared to ride it again.

As I pushed the sad old thing down the drive he told me I may as well have this other stuff too... All the original guards and munt....

2 weeks and a bit of black paint later I had a nice semi restored AJS which really stood out because in 1973 no normal person would have restored a 1950's AJS... I mean, they were not old enough....

I had a 1953 G9 (born the same year as me,a bad year by all accounts) that's the 500cc twin - possibly the worst handling bike I've ever owned,I used to like going over the white lines at pedestrian crossing in the wet....it would cross up going in a straight line! And yet a 1950 350 single we had around (I think the first production swing arm a year earlier?) handled a dream, did some heroic rides on that one.

I started off on an AG100 tootling around the hills (I'm sure I've written this already somewhere) and then got a StreetMagic aswell. hehe - what fun. Then a year later I sold the StreetMagic and got my bike I've got now (a 250 Honda) and I love it! When I get a bit of money and a bit more of a loan I'll get a 600 but I want to keep my 250 too .

So what you're really saying, is that I can claim one of his bikes as mine? :sly: I'll take the 916 then.
