SOUTH ISLAND TRIP (need some friends)

I have already posted a thread about my S.I. trip, but just a bit of update.

I am planning on leaving around the 15-16 march and making my way south down the east coast ending up in Wanaka around the 21st for "Warbirds over Wanaka" and making my way back up the west getting back around the 27-28th march.

probably staying at backpackers or youth hostels.

Does anyone want to come with me.

I'm a little aprehensive about riding all that way by myself (feel safer if there is someone looking out each other)

You can PM me if ya have a question or give me a ring 8326654.

let me just say, solo riding is nothing to be afraid of. ive done the south island twice, and both times i rode solo. what i did do, was pick up other riders along the way, and ride with them for a day.

the really happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery when on a detour.

I have done many tours and long trips by myself and many with a group. Yes can be more fun with someone else but being by yourself, you go at your pace, stop when and where you want, and do what you want. You want to stop for a photo.. then you stop...

Just take it easy and take regular rest stops, relax and have fun. If you put up your itinerary and dates I am sure there will be parts where there are some KBers will escort you about parts of your trip (or outta town )

There will be a few us at Warbirds in March. Our plans are very "fluid" at the moment but if you're keen to hook up for day the let us know...

Has it ever bothered you that Therapist is The Rapist if you break the word in two? It bothers me, especially when they suggest hypnosis.
