Used to get wicked electrical storms in Singapore. Burnt my teachers house down one night despite the lightening dividers on the roof. Bloody awesome and so fricken loud, really hot and all the toads and snakes would come out on the roads. Only lightening experience that has come close in NZ was when we lived in New Plymouth - they seem to get some good ones too.
Mmmm I do so love a bit of outdoor nookie.....
Up by the wind turbine. In fact just over the back of there is a little racetrack...![]()
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
we will remember them
Nookie being the operative word here, never mind where or what the place is!
But then, we males are forced to pretend we care about such things simply to indulge your female wants.
Customer service is not new, it is simply an extrapolation of male qualities.
Basically deep down for us it's "nookie"Cheers John.
Nope - only ever did it outside once when Trashy was still living in Welly, but that was more from necessity as we were tired of his flatmates bursting in on us when the urge took us. Saw a number of suitable spots when I went off exploring but I'm bggered if I can remember where they are.
Mmmm. The area around Twizel in the MacKenzie Basin was and probably still is great for that. ( I'm sure you know all these places 'Oldrider' / John)
> The trees around the picnic/camping area at Lake Pukaki before the dam.
> The trees in the plantation at Lake Wardell
> Under the willows on the other side of Wairepo Arm
> On the shores of Lake Benmore in one of the very secluded bays
> Late at night on the other side of Kellands Ponds while you watch the cars going up SH8
> And for the very bold, Lake Ruataniwha between the camping ground and the lake.
And all within about 10 minutes of home (except for Benmore). No wonder we stayed in Twizel for 15 years.
Ooh. I think I need to be alone for a short time now.
Grow older but never grow up
OK, well if you can't find Mr Kendog and I at any time during the Bucket Racing, don't come looking for us (or do so at your own peril)![]()
