Yup

The WOF expires on the 04/03/08 and the REG on the 29/04/08

About 55min or so from middle of auckland. Just down the motorway and off on state hw2.

can you provide any details on 'modified power valves' ?

apparently in these bikes those are the biggest PITA's

I'm in sydney whole next week, but week after might come by and have a look-see

From an earlier post......

The original items are known to cause major problems. Here is a little info

The power valves are the Achilles heal on the rgv the pin tends to go brittle or worn and eventually break or fall out, The valve then drops down and goes straight into the barrel causing a right mess.

Basically the ones in there are modified to not have this problem like the originals. I have not pulled them out, but the previous owner assured me they were the modified (strengthened) ones. He was a very genuine guy so should be no problems. It is quite a common thing for these bike to have the modified ones installed for safety.

I have a work mate that is an absolute bike fanatic...like is garage has atleast 5 bikes he rides (that I know of plus engines he's rebuilding) And they are all in show room condition.....(im sure he has OCD when it comes to bikes)
He has expressed an extreme interest in purchasing an RGV250 for quite some time....I shall relay the info from this thread. I beleive he maywell be quite interested.

dude...they guys real intersted...but he is computer illiterate......he was caught on his wifes computer trying to find it and she threatened to throw her lap dog at him.

I'll attempt to get him a looksee at it at work on the bosses computer....hang tight.
