And I am happy, yes. After 9 months of complete ambivalence, it's good to feel this way

I am quite scared about next week tho - it's Dave's first week back at work and my first week on my own, totally on my own. He's been a wonderful help all this week - cooking, washing, helping with nappy changes and burping - nervous how I'll go on my own, with no adult contact from 7 to 5 each day. I hope it will be OK.....
One day at the time, hun...One of the big things I've learnt when I had my lil' man is: "cross that bridge when you get to it!"

Over stressing about things in advance won't make it any easier, all the contrary. Don't expect yourself to turn into Super Mommy either...so what if the washing doesn't get done straight away? or if the ironning isn't up to scratch...

It takes quite a bit of time to get used to the whole routine, so concentrate on you and your baby and nothing else for a little while...baby steps!

And I told you, I'm only a phone call away if you need to have a giggle...I'm just sorry I'm not down the line, cos I'm a mean burper aider!
