    Haha so funny, sorry i think i've been misunderstood lol!
    I'm not fearing to see sharks around NZ, its just in my ignorance, di not know there was big ones around NZ!
    I'm supporting the "sharks are not dangerous" (except for few species that are aggressive whatever: mako, tiger, great white) and stop watching Jaws lol!

    I'm a lifeguard, i drive irbs(inflatable rescue boats) and have never seen a shark before, have seen a few dolphins though. We get told in training to leave them alone and clear the beach. I don't think that surf club would have wanted their irb bitten, they're frustrating to patch up under the water line and new ones are expensive
