Not a bad idea for a helmet but useless if your riding 2 up.

Just has a browse and this looks like it just might work, 2up would defo be a problem. Was wondering if the new version has address the issue of visibility for sportsbike rider who are leaning far foward as I guess seeing sky is rather detracting from the idea of having a rear view mirror system.

Not many things from the UK are a good idea but this might just be one.

How do ya turn your head inside it to look out the rear window?
im sure cycletreads have got these on there shelves, could be wrong though.
Go Coops
Tried on of these on at Motorad when Kerry was there and thats a couple of years ago. I was a weird feeling looking up to the little mirror. It felt like I was really taking my focus away from where it really should be.
Like the idea though. Be good for all those 1098 or 998/6 riders that cant see out of there mirrors![]()
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
The mirror positioning looked a little odd to be honest and I agree about looking into it taking your focus off the road ahead. I guess it may equate to turning round to check your blind spot in a car, for a split second you attention is elsewhere and not on what is ahead of you.
Maybe it is one of those habits that you would get used in time and would be able to do without feeling that you were risking plowing into the back of something on the road ahead.

How times fly. That was 2005 when Motorad had one in stock. I liked the look of it but it was a bit pricey.
Here's one of the earlier discussions on it...

Imagine being half way around a corner and seeing somthing happen behind you, which distracts (you look up or whatever) then BANG your in the ditch...
