The Reason People Want To Live In Hamilton NWS

For those that don't recognise it these pictures are of the Claudlands Bridge which crosses the Waikato River in mid Hamilton.
I've often fantasised about riding a motorbike over it but this takes the cake.

It's back..."Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Yeah, looks similar Mix, but that's not the Claudlands bridge (I should know, I look out my window every morning and see the Claudlands bridge traffic jam), it's the Fairfield as Marty points out, but it's not even in Hamilton.

    Friggin' hilarious though.
Who, me? I just wander from thread to thread.

true story about the Fairfield Bridge.

In about 2002 there was some kids jumping off the top centre, into the river. Wouldn't get down. Then one jumped in, and got into trouble in the river about 200m downstream. I ran off to my patrol car, jumped in, and said 'who the fuck stole my steering wheel!!!???'

Got in the back seat I did! Public watching were all LOLing.

The kid nearly died - got hooked up on a tree with 7 knots of current almost drowning him.
