How about putting a blow up doll in the sidecar? (suitably attired of course since its a family event).

Or if you want to reinforce peoples negative stereotypes about motorcyclists you could make it a blow up sheep!

Its in 3 catagories ya have to win.
    Fastest
    Best presented trolly
Best show by the "pit crew"
A lot of the fast trolleys lost traction on the sharp right hand turn and spun out --So Im thinking tyre warmers turned up max to make the tyres super sticky.
I imagined a 4 wheeled "leaner" -- basicly 2 bicycles joined together with the rider in the middle -the dress it up with fairings and stuff.
-Um yep Im a sick puppy
Fastest - yup, a KB team will surely win this. The rider will pass the other trolley on the outside of a blind corner, fall off and slide through the exit on their arse.

Best presented - Sounds like this might be difficult, considering the amount of gaff holding together certain KB bikes.

Best show by the pit crew - I don't think a KB pit crew would be that showy sober. But if they were drunk and given a banana, they might entertain the croud for a brief few moments.

Hahaha! sounds like a great idea!

when me and my old man saw it on the TV the other night we thought and chatted over some ideas too, you know i reckon it shouldnt be all THAT hard to do well in? should it? i was thinking a low level 2inch off the ground plank, some big diameter wheels (off MTB) with strips of rubber for tyres just about - or highly pumped up skinneys, and just an old lever type steering coloumn with hotrod wheel like i had on mine years ago, cept i only had motormower wheels and they sucked for rough chip road.

then hit the corners as fast as u can using classic apex lines yeah? -spread the wheelbase as wide as they let you so that she wont tip onto 2 wheels, which should be near impossible anyways as ideally the mass of rider etc should be below the axel of both sets of wheels.

But anyway im real real real keen on helping out on the whole idea! have a bit in the way of materials, and reckon with minds like milkys we could get some serious tech shit going!

my workmates (a bunch of engineers) thrashed this idea for a while a few months back and its definitely a great deal of fun - so long as the team actually agrees on what the concept is because there's so many ways to get down the hill you need to pick one and then just go with it.

It looked to me that the main problem was lack of traction on some of the faster karts.
I think the driver needs to be able to move around easily to load up the wheels propperly -otherwise its gonna be spin city

yes some of the carts had huge amounts of money spent on them, we had wheels from the dump, $20 tyres (60 psi) had a slite toe in (on perpose of cause!) we didn't come first i think it was 7th fasted time (same as the winners) but we finished ! the last corner was the killer .. a tight left hander, (try riding down it next time your at the musem! ) that took out all the fast ones, the wheels buckeled, they lost traction on their skinny wheels hahahaha

Errrr, so it's 3 wheels. Should have read the whole thread first. I am still keen to be the next in-line as the driver.

Someone is bound to have a sheep fetish. I'd say, your local sex toy shop.
