Surely you are not, the Ian Disney, ex TZ rider ???????

I thought Ian was in France ?

Dusty's number is 04 9346510 in case anybody needs it, and I'll be having a few beers with him tomorrow night, if you have a message ?? Gaz.

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

Glad you popped up as I was trolling, I don't know where Ian is but I am trying to contact him. He used to stay with either Dusty or myself when he came back to Wgtn. I have since moved to Auckland and he has stayed with me several times but has vanished into the ether. Marty Baylis and myself are keen to get an update. I am surprised by the France comment as Ian worked underground in the states for many years and then decided to get a green card legally to avoid having to travel via Canada to disguise his absences. Ian's bike was never a TZ but homegrown which is a credit to his abilities.. Ian was born in England and was born several months too late to gain automatic NZ residency hence him working in the US illegally as he had no time for the homeland. Ian, Mel Wrigley, Marty Baylis and myself were very close but he has dropped off our radar. I contacted another friend in Napier just last week and although he has heard from Ian it's one way traffic. Give my regards to Dusty and tell him that his left hook Datsun wagon or as Diz used to say Neesin was always a source of amusement to me. I have also bought a ZX7R Kwaka and tell Dusty I may require leathers if he is still in the game. Dennis K is on my list to contact re Diz but if Dusty knows more please ring me. 09 2763239. Tell Dusty that Rob McK was in hospital recently and very ill but I don't think life threatening. (Gall stones?) I think mum said. By the way I am Phil and would like to catch up with Dusty and Diz as I am having a midlife crisis (She says) Regards

Are you Gary Goodyer. If so I took you home from Feilding when your fancy yank tank shit itself. I also delivered your brother Pauls shoes to him in Auckland personally when he left them with Keith Tinney or something like that. Are you that Gaz? Tell Dusty he owes me a beer for all the referrals I have given over the years and still do as you can attest. Best drunk in person I might add.

Christ no, us farmer types from north of Levin would hate to be lumped in with the latte lovers from the Kapiti Coast!

But Dusty is certainly one of the best. He doesn't just work with leather - he fixed my cordura pants when I burned a hole in them on the exhaust and did a great job.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.

Went to Dusty and he is fab. Not only did he fix my problem super quick it is also really amazing price wise. He came up with a simple solution he also fixed a couple of things that had been bothering wannabiker.

So highly recomend him, and wahoo, can wear the leather without sunscreen!

As us sophisticated Kapiti-ites wouldnt want to be lumped in with you Levin banjo pickers anyhow.....

And for the record - kber Spittie (Nick) in Mazengarb Rd is excellent with leather and cordura, and has over 30 years experience as a tailor.
    Highly recommended.
Experience......something you get just after you needed it
