Woot! Awesome going mate, really looking forward to catching up when I'm down there in a few weeks!
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."
Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.
So an update.
I received the exemption to sit my full license in Aug but after some clarification found that this meant I was still unable to ride my bike legally.
SO booked the full practical test in and passed it easily. WTF was I worried about. Anyway this means I've now been fully licensed and insured and all that palava for around the last 2 weeks (or so).
Never thought it would make much difference to me but it soooo does. I even went out the other night and rode home after 10pm![]()

I'm a big kid now!
Today I went for the longest ride I have done in like forever...about 8 - 10 years?!!! Thanks to the dogs for taking me out and letting me tag behindit were a grand day to tootle around Wairarapas back roads. I had all but forgot the sense of satisfaction that comes from cruising along on long clear open roads, sweepy turns and nothing but grass, sheep and cows around for miles.
My visor is covered in bugs, the Takas get less intimidating each time I ride them (although still have a mind block going down hill) and I very much enjoyed my first ride in my lovely new fantastic SIDI boots
Being back on the road again EFFING ROCKS! Bring on more lovely sunny days like today
AND....I cracked MY land speed recordwhich I won't mention here lest it be held against me in a court of law.
