So there you have it! Yes I got on today...Yes I will get on again in the future...next time I'll know what to expect.
Don't let moments like that get you down Sweetpea, think of it as a learning curve (not a nice one, but one just the same). If it went well all the time how would we learn how to react in a 'situation'! And it sounds to me like the voice in your head is farken spot on....WELL DONE!!!
No body move... I dropped my brain

But you did good by the sounds of things, didn't let it put you off and away you went.

Sorry the ride sucked compared to the other day S. It was an unfamiliar bike, so try not to compare it or let it put you off riding it, or C's bike, again.

You have to get back on a steed.
Thanks ladies - ran out of bling to give for your encouraging words. Will definately get back on it again - was just very shaken and felt very very stupid. It's just the basics and I guess I need to remember that while I used to be 'Unconsciuosly Competent', I.E; didn't have to think too much about it just did all that stuff naturally - Now, after such a long break I have drifted back to being "Consciously Competent" - that is I still know know what I need to do and when but I have to concentrate on it until it once again become unconsious. Once again thanks for your encouragement

Just as soon as I replace the unevenly worn front...hubby looked at it and confirmed that it looked exactly as he expected it to given my 'description' of my wee moment...which made me feel heaps better as it meant I hadn't just imagined it all!

    cooooorrrrr loook at that!

I am now the very proud owner of a lovely silver SV Proud, moi? Never?!

My Silver Bullet....Or in 'true to' Monsters Incorporated fashion the Silver Scream Extractor! Or since I'm such a lady maybe I could call him (yes I only ride a boy bikes) the Silver Squeel Extractor!

Life is gooooood...Can't take him out to work today unfortunately - 'Official family business' but will be doing some tailoring tonight since we have a bit of rooom to play with ...in terms of my lack of height and short stumpy legs that is )

Hopefully I be able to ride him to work tomorrow...the long way....after rush hour traffic has ended....maybe I should go shopping for all that new gear I need today while I have the cage...hmmmm maybe just try ons at this stage - I can be at least a little fussy this time round

Need sticker for helmet....where do you find these to nosey through? Websites anyone?
