    Howdy (tacos)

hiya. im sorta new. bin a member for a while jus never posted.
i got 2 bikes. a Gn (dont laugh it was a present for my granddad)
    and a recently aquired GSXR400.
now heres the part i need help with.
first off i need insurance. but no one seems to be able to help (im 17)
and im tryna find a engine for stated gsx. i think i may have f**kd it.
but i cant find a engine any were.
and before you try to be smart and say try a wrecker - iv basically exhausted all wrecker options.
so far a bike shop that sell triumphs/buells/ducatis has bin more helpfull than a suzuki dealer. (ironic)
so yea again howdy and help...

    Welcome tacos.
    Nothing wrong with the GN's.
List whats wrong with the 400, and what you need in the Mechanical Forum. Someone might be able to help.

List frame and engine #'s so people know what to track down.

    Hi Taco,

What insurance companies have you tried? Have you tried Dave at Kiwibike www.kiwibike.co.nz/ helpful fellow.

I remember when we first started riding, Hubby had a hard time at first trying to get insured, the AA didn't want to touch him being on a learners licence (despite having a full car license and being 28). Being shortsighted, they subsequently lost all our insurance after being so unhelpful (car/contents/house etc). I'm sure you'll find different people have different experiences with companies, so keep trying. Give Dave a phone or email, he'll give it a bash I'm sure.

We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have you found? The same old fears.
    Wish you were here. QWQ
