$500 Harvey Norman Vouchers

I got $500 Harvey Norman Vouchers for xmas but dont see anything I want and I really would rather have the cash. Anyone bout to buy something and wanna offer me some cash for these dam things. Can be used any where but Im in Auckland and for purchasing anything in store. They cant be used to pay off anything already financed though.

hmmm well from looking they sell on trade me but it will cost me like 50 in fees and then Im not expecting the full amount so I figured Id try here first.

Oh by the way they are 5 $100.00 vouchers so I can split them up.,...

The vifferbabe has decreed that shopping at Harvey Normans is now verboten for the Vifferdork fambilly, ever since the Son #2 took some faulty headphones back to them, and they refused to provide a credit (on the credit card) or cash refund, but instead issued a voucher. Of course, there was nothing else he wanted to buy there, the voucher expired, so there was $50 down the gurgler.

This may be within legal requirements for refunds to consumers, but it's rather unethical. The original purchase was via credit card, so a reversal of the transaction via the same credit card would've been the normal thing to do, and better for us.

Anyway - sorry to hijack your thread

and I hope you manage to sell them.

Two days earlier and I would have taken them off your hands.

And no, as per the consumer gaurantees act you are entitled to a full refund or replacement (customers choice) for faulty goods. So very unethical. But I'm not sure any of those shops are better than the others......
