Hyosung GV250 value?

Hi guys just wondering what my bike is worth for insurance purposes. It's a 06 GV done 7,000km has a dent on the tank but is all straight otherwise.

I did but then went into a dealer and asked them and they said about 3 to 3,500. I think they thought I wanted to trade it in but I thought I could ask here to confirm no point paying to much in insurance.

Insure it for it's replacement cost. Under 12 months or 10,000 k's and a bike is practically new. The difference in premium between 5g and 7/8g is worth it.

After all you're gonna crash / sell it within 18 months I assume.

The GV new can be purchased for 6k so not worth 7/8 unless your dealer doesnt give very good pricing (basically they are at least 1k cheaper than the GTR) which I figure is fair considering the fact the GTR sells better & all those fairings...
