Well, his victim wasn't killed with a taiaha but I don't think that kid needs any more training with something that is, in fact, a weapon. I haven't heard of any crimes commited with a taiaha specifically, but they are a weapon are they not? (ooohhh dreadful English just then - my apologies gijoe1313 ) Not to mention that the skills he learns on it would transfer ever so nice and easily over to any other stick like weapon he could weild. Cultural or not, his crime hardly fits with being suitable for this type of training.

My recollection is that the group he was with executed their victim with a softball bat. I would have thought that his training with clubs is complete. Perhaps he should move on to blades and then firearms.
